Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.

OK. So. After an extraordinarily long hiatus from writing (and thinking in general), I've decided to return to the creation of one or more ideas for a disturbingly accurate depiction of my sick and twisted imagination (accelerated by the tales of several true unsolved mysteries). Being of a naturally inquisitive nature, I began to research "haunted video games" after re-watching 'Stay Alive' and playing 'Rule of Rose' (thanks to Madison),  a horror/mystery PS2 delight focused on the disturbing tale of a 'young unlucky girl'. The game focuses on the sadomasochistic children who form 'The Red Crayon Aristocrats'. As the story, set in 1930s England, progresses you find newspaper articles referring to the abductions of children from local parks. The game, disturbing in its highly realistic depictions, was highly intriguing. So, after my failed attempt to search for games that my be "haunted", I looked into specific aspects of the story itself. The first topic on my list was, of course, unsolved disappearances, especially of children. After about a half an hour of sorting through all that Google had to offer, I found the case of the missing Beaumont children from Adelaide, Australia.
About a year ago I researched unsolved missing children cases for another idea I had on the run, and this case became my primary focus. I eventually lost interest in it though and started to pursue other areas of interest. When I stumbled over it again this afternoon I immediately perked up. Of course, the case itself would be a great basis for a screenplay, I don't really want to write anything purely based on a true story, but I definitely want to incorporate aspects of true stories into the work. I would like for this to be as close to realistic as possible, I mean, considering the fact that it will be influenced heavily by my New Orleans Voodoo roots, I'm still shooting for realistically horrifying (but not necessarily blood and guts, but truly twisted... OK, well, maybe a little blood and guts...). I've got a pretty solid story line, but I'm not quite sure how to go about writing it. Wish me luck.
And so the plot thickens...

SOMEONE WILLING TO DISCUSS THE GATES OF GUINEE

These are the things I need to make my movie.... well, at least, the most important things.
The focus of the movie should be The Gates of Guinee and Marie Laveau I.
The plot so far:
A group a five girls attempt to contact the dead for their own personal gain. During the seance (in the middle of the woods), something goes horribly wrong and the girls are cursed with knowledge beyond their understanding. One of the five, being born and raised in New Orleans, has some understanding of the ritual they just witnessed. As a result, they must all leave Houston and head to New Orleans where they throwdown against zombies, ghosts, voodoo followers, and even the Voodoo Queen herself.
I haven't decided upon any of the details yet...
If you are interested in this project and have yet to contact me, please do!
The more, the merrier.

Chuck Norris is the reason why Waldo is hiding.

So here I am, writing my first "blog" post (or whatever the hell you call it). Surprisingly, I don't feel uncomfortable revealing my not-so-secret secrets to those few individuals who care to read this little spec floating around the darkest recesses of the World Wide Web.
For those of you who care to know, I am in the process of eating alive the few people who are unlucky enough to be in my presence due to what is known to mankind as PMS. Fortunately, I've simultaneously been cursed with the burden that is a creative spark. Instead of lying around begging the free world and anyone else in earshot for any and all of the chocolate produced within the last six months, I'm attempting to write a horror/thriller/mystery screenplay. Yes, there will be terrifying undead creatures, yes, there will be bloodshed, yes ,there will be seances, yes, there will be awesome music (mostly Android Lust {Google her}), yes, there will be Voodoo Queens, yes, there will be your stereotypical Goth chick and a random lesbian (myself, of course). I'm going to need a great deal of help making this dream a reality, but I am absolutely determined to get this off the ground.
I recently vowed to be at the Golden Globes within the next five years, and I truly believe that this project may be the key to the door that unlocks that path.
I have a feeling that this is the beginning of a new volume of my own personal saga. Hopefully this one won't be entitled, "Hell: The Last Stand," but instead may be a prologue to something wonderful that I can share with the whole world.
